What to Wear and Bring
I’m so glad to see everyone RSVPing. It’s so cool for me to see who’s coming so quickly- it makes me even more excited than I already am.
I’ve gotten quite a few questions of “So what should we wear to the wedding?” I think the best thing for guys would be khakis or pants that are lightweight since the whole event is outside, and a shirt that is also comfortable for summer weather. Jeans would be too hot, I would think. For the ladies, sun dresses, shorts, etc. How people dressed at the wedding shower in NJ was the perfect thing. Dressing for comfort is really the thing, since we will be outside, and there will be games to play. Croquet, bocce ball, badmitton, bean bags, and probably horseshoes or quoits. Since the weather will also be a little cooler at night, and it’s also a little bit higher elevation, I’d bring something heavier for later in the evening.
Also, since we’ll be having fireworks at night, you may want to bring lawn chairs/blankets to sit on. It’s going to be so much fun!

You're Invited!
The title is a little misleading—you may not, in fact, be invited. But if you are invited, your invitation is in the mail. They left the large blue box at the end of our street this morning at 9 AM, and are on their way all over the country (and the world!), welcoming people to join us at our wedding.
If you are the recipient of an invitation, you may RSVP online.

Directions to the Farm
Now that it’s become pretty clear that the hotel of choice is Econo Lodge, I feel like it’s safe to put up directions to the Farm. I’ve included shots from Google Maps in order to illustrate some of the turns involved (Though there really aren’t many turns).
When you leave from Econo Lodge, you will leave the general mall area by the same area you entered. Rather than taking a left to go towards I-80, you will make a right onto Route 42 North.
Following this, you will be on 42 for quite some time. The only time you will encounter a stop sign will be a four way stop in the town of Millville, where 42 intersects with 254. You will go straight through this stop sign, and continue on Route 42.
About 2 miles after the four way intersection, you will come to a point where the road forks; Route 42 is the right part of the fork.
This really is more like a right turn, but appears to be a fork on the map. Make this right and continue on Route 42.
Eventually you will begin to see signs for Route 118. Rather than following 42 to a stop sign and an awkward right turn, there will be a very short (about the length of 3 cars) shortcut across a bridge that puts you on 118. Make a right onto this short road, and then another right onto Routh 118 North.
You will stay on 118 for only a few miles. As you go up the hill, you will notice guard rail on the left hand side of the road. Where the guard rail stops, there will be Keller Hollow Road. The sign may or may not be there, but hopefully we will have it marked with balloons or some other marker to make it obvious. Turn left onto this road. At the bottom of the hill at the very faded stop sign, make a right. You will go past a farm, over a small bridge, and again, the bottom of the driveway (on the left) will be marked with balloons, etc.
We’re very excited about the wedding, and can’t wait to see everyone there. If anyone has any questions about directions, just e-mail us and we’ll help you out.

Awesome Wedding Shower
Mom threw us a wedding shower yesterday, and while I was initially hesitant about the concept, I had a great time. Saw some family and friends that I haven’t seen in a while, got to hang out and chat for several hours, and we also got some awesome presents. Amanda and I have better tools for our kitchen now; we can become better cooks. I can’t wait to use our new knives!
I set up a group photo pool at Flickr for pictures from the shower, wedding, and any other events surrounding that-which-will-happen-in-68-days. If you’ve used flickr, it should be easy to join and upload your pictures (it’s a public group). If you are not yet a member of flickr, join! It’s free! And even if you don’t have a digital camera or didn’t take any pictures, you can still participate in the discussion forum there.
- Sign up. Like I said, it’s free and extremely awesome.
- Go to http://www.flickr.com/groups/aj-and-amanda/. Click on the link that says “Join this group”.
- There is no step 3.
